Picture after picture you will find beautiful scenery, clear waters, fragrant forests, lush fields, and the quaint villages of the central New Hampshire's Lakes Region.  Lake Winnipesaukee is 72 square miles of glacier sculpted lake.  It is clear, cool and refreshing in the summer and offers grand views of mountain splendor in the spring and fall!

On-site at the Brook and Bridle

The clear water off the Brook and Bridle's private sandy beach is gently sloping, and safe for the very young.  The main Long Beach is very wide and invites lazing in the sun or socializing at the Beach House.  For the experienced swimmer, a raft with a diving board is moored off the main beach.  The dock and moorings accommodate ski boats and day sailers.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own boats; moorings are provided.  Camp boats are provided for all to use.

The Beach House makes it easy to spend the whole day at the beach.  The Beach House fieldstone barbecue is a great gathering spot.  A playfort consisting of swings, twirled tube slide, climbing ropes, and tower is a focal point for youngsters.

Besides Lake Winnipesaukee, the Brook and Bridle is bordered by Beaver Brook which delights children and adults as a picturesque and productive fishing spot.  The brook is a safe and favorite place to explore with canoes and to pick blueberries.  Artifacts may still be found on an 1800's mill site which once stood beside the brook.
